Sorry, Ribbon still doesn't support Mixed style for Groups.

I need to generate a ribbon group that looks like this:
 
 
I had some trouble, so I went to the Ribbon Sample, which has something close.  I modified it so that the gallery that normally goes in the Styles group goes into the Font group instead.  All I did was move the code up a few lines, change the group, and rename the pControlGallery variable.  I've attached the file for reference.  Here is a picture of what I got, which is what I was seeing with my own code.
 
 
Obviously, this isn't what I was hoping for.  All the button controls get pushed down into never-never land.  My guess is that the gallery doesn't like being up against the other controls, and it is expressing that displeasure.  What tricks do I need to pull to get this picture right?
