, guess timer thing can only work - you can safe last pressed button in your ON_COMMAND hander and check it.

is there a quick way to catch dblclicks on toolbar buttons?  Right now, i only can think of catching LBUTTONDOWN, grabbing the time, and catching the second LBUTTONDOWN.  I Spy++'d, and it doesn't even look like I get a DBLCLK unless the button is disabled.
 
Any ideas?
