Author: Mikee
Subject: 13000
Posted: 22 December 2008 at 9:01am

Hallo,

is there a way to skin a textbox (especially the border of a textbox) without skinning the form-frame (in VB6)?

When I set "ApplyOptions = xtpSkinApplyColors Or xtpSkinApplyMetrics Or xtpSkinApplyFrame" then the textbox looks like it should be. But on Windows Vista, the Aero-design will be overwritten by my skin-frames.
So I set only "ApplyOptions = xtpSkinApplyColors Or xtpSkinApplyMetrics". Then the Aero-design is working fine, but the textbox looks like good old Windows 95. But the combobox will be skinned correctly.

I hope someone can help me.

Thank you very much and merry christmas.

Michael
