Hello Oleg,

I was testing this with Narrator under Windows Vista. I checked a downloaded Visual Studio 2005 sample as you proposed, and it also does not work with Narrator under Windows Vista.

But, testing all this under Windows XP seems to work as expected! So the problem with Narrator not reading menu items only occurs in Windows Vista. (Other apps, Outlook, Internet Explorer, all work ok with Narrator, so the problem seems to be in the combination XT CommandBars / Vista).

Hi,

Visual Studio IDE sample works for me. Do you test it in Windows XP ?

Please try download compiled exe from http://www.codejock.com/downloads/samples/userinterface.asp and check it.

Hello Support,

A customer of us has an eye disability, and is regularly using Windows Narrator so that all screen elements and menu's are read aloud. Many applications support this automatically.

But, our application which uses the XT CommandBars, does not work correctly with this: menu items in the menu bar and context menu's are NOT being read. Just to check, I also checked one of the CodeJock samples, the Visual Studio IDE, and it also does not work correctly.

Can you tell me if there is a workaround for this, or if there is a bug fix coming up for this. (We are using version 12.0.)
