Here is one more question about this issue:

 

In the processing of customize the toolbar, we have to go two steps.

 

  1. Use the CXTPControl::SetVisible(FALSE) to set both the buttons on the toolbar and the context menu invisible.
  2. What method has to be used to set the button on the toolbar invisible while on the context menu it should be visible but be unchecked?

Hi,
After you delete button from toolbar and before you load state call
pToolBar->GetControls()->CreateOriginalControls() to save state of original controls.

We created a toolbar in the resource and delete some of the button at the compiling time for different products.  One of the button on the toolbar is a combobox.

 

In the Add or Remove Buttons menu, it seems that the SaveCommandBars will not work correctly or fail because

 

  1. The position change of the combobox if the combobox is not deleted.
  2. Messed up with permanently deleted buttons and with the hidden buttons by user as the Add or Remove Buttons displays both the deleted buttons and designed to be kept buttons.

 

Are these any solutions for this case?
