Hi,
 
Its not DockingPane Hide - its your Dialog closed.
 
add
 virtual void OnOK() {}
 virtual void OnCancel(){}
in code of your dialog.

My app of docking-pane is good;
but, after press ESC key on focused state,
 then child windows hide.
 
and, child window appear  after resize pane or framewindow resize event
