Yes I did, and I it worked, but I can not understand why do I need extra resources ? All I need exists in my own .rc file.

I noticed that, if I ignore the assertion error the application works fine, but when I click on "Toolbar options" drop down menu (Add or Remove Buttons) I get the same error. So, I supposed that maybe some of the resources for this control, are located inside the XtToolKitPro.rc file.

Is there any way to remove this "ToolBar option" and consequentially prevent the need of XtToolKitPro.rc file ?

Hi,

Trying to make a new SDI application and copy/paste some code from the

tabbedToolbar example, I get an assert error that says:

Error locating Toolkit Resources

Make sure you have included the resources to your project .rc2 file

Add #include to your project .rc2 file.

The error is occured with the following statement :

CXTPTabToolBar* pToolBar = (CXTPTabToolBar*)pCommandBars->Add(_T("Standard"), xtpBarTop, RUNTIME_CLASS(CXTPTabToolBar));

What seems to be wrong here ?
