I tried it again (and added SkinFramework.AutoApplyNewWindows = True to see if that helped) and the app didn't crash. I removed that line to see if it would crash again, and now I can't get the program to crash the IDE at all (even when starting again from scratch). Mysterious.

The included EXE never crashes for me.

And I mean especially the order in the form. Well, I think we do need one. It's getting weirder and weirder all the time. Problem is (maybe) combination of controls:

SkinFrameWork
DockingPanes
MS toolbar 6.0

It is difficult to explain what is happening and why it does, but maybe CJ can... Now see attached project and run it, click Open frmViewEditor and close the form. Nothing wrong so far, right? Now add MS toolbar (6.0) to frmViewEditor, run the project again and click Open frmViewEditor and close the form. What the f**k Crash ??? why is that ??? I added only a toolbar to a form... that shouldn't be a problem... Wait, maybe it's IDE problem let's compile, grrrrrr still the same

Note: this doesn't happen with MS Toolbar 5.0 or picturebox or whatever control

uploads/20080910_090429_VBMenu.zip

Thanks for looking into it
