The RibbonControls samples shows many common controls for the CommandBars like progress ctrl, combobox etc. Unfortunately they are all windowless (not CWnd derived) and can not be used as a replacement for the common controls on dialogs.

Why is there no CComboBox derived CXTPComboBox which then uses CXTPControlComboBox for rendering? Instead we have the decade-old CXTFlatComboBox which actually should just be a theme of CXTPComboBox (xtpThemeFlat).

The XTP controls need a major overhauling.
