I found another way thru the _DrawItem event using API DrawText.  This should work for us, but if there are ways to handle it thru the Gallery itself that would be great as well.

Ok I see how that makes it work.

However, I have a limited amount of space for each gallery item because I want to create 3 gallery items per row in the gallery and adding in the icon makes me have to change the item width.  Even if I make the icon size 1x1, the space the icon takes up in the gallery item is the same as if it was 32x32.

Thoughts?

You can try set xtpButtonCaptionAndDescription style for GalleryControl and set DescriptionText for Gallery items.

Hi, is it possible to have multi-line captions for gallery items?  Seems that everything just appends the "..." characters on.
