There is a CommandBars.AddImageList method that can only take MS supplied image list as a parameter - that greatly reduces usage of the advanced (XP-enabled) image lists (i.e. vbAccelerator image list capable of 32-bit images)

Why not having something like CommandBars.AddImageListHandle(hImageList as ...) in addition?
