XTP Version 9.1

I've read the documentation on how to statically link XTP resources by including <XTToolkitPro.rc> in the rc2 file. However, I'm using an XTP control in an ActiveX project, which has no rc2 file. Does anyone have any information how to include the XTP resources in this scenario? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
