okay thank you it works just like I wanted to.
now how can I be able to change the background of the tooltips to the color of the ribbonbar (aqua, silver)?

Note: it will be a good idea to add a control Codejock SuperTooltips to let add a tooltips to your controls withount writing any codes (just a thought).

Hi,
You can create it only for controls that support TooltipContext property - CommandBars/DockingPane/PropertyGrid.
Afraid PushButton/Radio don't have it.
