Ah must have been me tired as did try that early hours, but now retried and all fine.
 
However with this menu if I right click an item in the menu and click Add to Quick Access Toolbar it adds the actual item whereby Office 2007 actually adds a popup button and if clicked it shows the entire menu.
 
Is this a problem with XTP or is there another way around this please?

Hi,
For example you can add Update handler for this Id and update it in handler.
 
or manually find this control and call pControl->SetCaption(..);

CMenu Menu;
Menu.LoadMenu( IDR_MENU_LINE_SPACING_CONTEXT );
pControlLineSpacing->SetCommandBar( Menu.GetSubMenu( 0 ) );
 
We have the above code to add a menu to a xtpControlPopup however how would we rename menu items on the fly after we have created the button
 
Any help much appreciated
