hi,

i dont understand why .EditHandle is always 0 after i added a ComboBox or a EditBox to the commandbar:

ToolBar.Controls.Add(xtpControlComboBox, 500, "")

ToolBar.Controls.Add(xtpControlEdit, 500, "")

Is this maybe a bug in my older version of the commandbar?

Hi everyone, I'm experiencing a serious performance issue on a specific computer architecture (Ryzen 9 5950X (16 cores, 32 threads), 64GB RAM, NVIDIA RTX 3080). On this system (and I haven't found any other architectures causing the same issue yet), a file operation that works fine without CJ Skin cannot be completed using Toolkit Pro 24.2.0 because the thread stalls while updating the progress bar. This operation takes increasingly longer until the thread completely stalls.

Note: This machine is owned by a customer, and I don't have any further information or extensive testing.

Has anyone had similar experiences? Do you have any suggestions on how to find a solution?

Well, I have been using XTP for almost 20 years.

Since most other apps, websites, mobile apps and Windows OS have moved to modern simple fluid design (or similar) my app using XTP looks outdated and many customers complain about it.

Want your suggestions, how can I use XTP and at the same time make it look modern?

Another vote from me!

We're trying to move to VS 2026 using latest supported v145 C++ build tools and still waiting for Codejock. All other SDKs we use support VS 2026.

Even a hack for 24.3 would be appreciated rather than waiting for a mega update.

Reproduction environment:

Xtreme ToolkitPro v24.3.0

Windows 11 Home 25H2 (Japanese edition)

When I was using Xtreme ToolkitPro 19.1.0, I was able to save and restore ribbon customization simply by calling SaveCommandBars/LoadCommandBars in CMainFrame.

This issue may only be reproducible on the Japanese version of Windows.

Hello,

I customized the ribbon in the RibbonSample and added one button to the ribbon.

The button appears correctly while the application is running, but it disappears after restarting the application.

In previous versions of the toolkit, I believe ribbon customization was automatically saved and restored.

What is the correct way to persist ribbon customization in Xtreme ToolkitPro v24.3.0?
