I was surprised to see these articles on the Microsoft website explaining how to use some of the best features of VB.NET from VB6 and ActiveX controls. And comments like "MS understands there is a large amount of VB6 code that will remain in use for a long time as it may not be cost effective to convert to .NET", and hints and tips on debugging combined VB6 and .NET applications. Best of all MS says you do not need to purchase .NET because the free VB.net Express will provide all the functionality that is needed.
