Hi, Currently the dataprovider creates a default set of tables in the specified database, this restricts the behaviour of the calendar and restricts the use of mutiple calendars. for a database connection it would be useful to allow the user to specify alternative tables via a property prior to opening or creating the dataprovider source. cheers in advance |

Hi,
Tables creation is required only for first time. When you have already created database, you can enhance it in any way, and it will be working fine. Of course you shouldn't change tables or fields names, but you can add any you'd like. You can also always create your own compartible data provider with any database structure and specifics. Next versions of the control will have advanced examples of custom database data providers. -- WBR, Serge |
