The sort triangle does not ALWAYS show up

 m_StructRC.GetPaintManager()->m_DrawSortTriangleStyle = xtpReportDrawSortTriangleAlways;
 m_StructRC.GetPaintManager()->m_bDrawSortTriangleAlways = TRUE;

I want the header TEXT to CLIP, and ALWAYS show the triangle (if it can).  Does the above code not do that?  Currently it is NOT clipping the header text and it is HIDING the sort triangle when the column is not wide enough to show both the text AND the arrow.  I want the arrow to have precedence over the header text.

I am using version 13.0
