Hi everyone...

In our app I allow the user to change basically the same settings as in the RibbonExample ( Theme , Animation , Font Size a.s.o. )
At the start of our app I call LoadCommandBars and in the end I call SaveCommandBars. This works real nice and usually settings like the theme and the Quick Access Toolbar are nicely restored.

However I found that the following are not restored that way:
  • Animation ( RibbonBar.EnableAnimation )
  • Font Size ( RibbonBar.FontHeight )
  • Auto Resize Icons ( CommandBars.PaintManager.AutoResizeIcons )
Do I have to store these settings myself ? If yes one further question !There is also a way to store f.e. the animation type in the options tab. Which setting does this one look at ?
BTW ! These three settings are also not restored in your RibbonSample !

Best Regards from Germany

Peter

Yes, you have to store these settings.

OK ! Fine with me...

I have however on further question !
If I enable the animation in my dialog and it is disabled in your customization option dialog which setting is taken and stored ?

Best Regards

Peter

P.S. I think the savest way is to remove it from my dialog... If the user wants to change it he/she can use your customization dialog !
