I thought there might be a PaintManager.GroupRowBackcolor property, but no luck. You can use the BeforeDrawRow event like this though:
Private Sub wndReportControl_BeforeDrawRow(ByVal Row As XtremeReportControl.IReportRow, ByVal Item As XtremeReportControl.IReportRecordItem, ByVal Metrics As XtremeReportControl.IReportRecordItemMetrics) If Row.GroupRow Then Metrics.BackColor = vbRed End If End Sub |

Note that you must call wndreportcontrol.SetCustomDraw xtpCustomBeforeDrawRow for this to work.
