even one year passed, this question never been answered.
from the online help, i can see only the colorpicker can be showed modal. |

Take a look at the CJ samples:
...\Samples\Controls\VB\SuiteControls\SuiteControls.vbp There's a tab called "Common Dialogs". Run the app, check the code. All dialogs are modal (except the "Help Dialog")! |
