Hi, We have an OCX that we have developed for a VB6 application that uses the Chart Control. We compile our software using a specific Windows 2000 Server and have discovered that that the Chart Control is not compatible with Windows 2000 Server. As our OCX (call it A.ocx) doesn't expose the Chart Control, created a second version of our OCX (call it B.ocx) without references to the Chart Control. This allowed us to compile the application on server 2000. When we opened the application a DEV machine (Server 2003) using either version of the ocx (A.ocx and B.ocx) and everything was fine. Unfortunately, when we went to run the application on a test machine (WinXP) using A.ocx we got the "You do not have an appropriate license to use this functionality" error message. So then we tried installed the Codejock package (xcopy setup) and ran the Registrator.exe tool to the test machine to see if we could get it to work, however we still get the message. Do you have any suggestions on how to work around this issue? ps. if you think this should be managed through a support ticket, let me know. |
