Ok cant compile my application in VS2008 as for some reason the project seems to want to use MFC 8

Error 1 fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'mfc80d.lib' Alphabet Names Alphabet Names

Very strange, any ideas anybody please

make sure the include and lib dirs in the VS2008 options point to the correct paths.

Hi,

If you create standard MFC application with Wizard do you see same? If so, reinstall vc.

We dont see same which is strange lol, however why would a vc9 project want to:

Error 1 fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'mfc80d.lib' Alphabet Names Alphabet Names

include mfc80d.lib anyhow as surely it should be wanting mfc90d.lib

We made a new test project and all is fine :(

Ah it was to do with another .lib I was including which we needed to recompile under VS2008.
