How do I prepare icons for the dark theme? Is there some trick/tool to convert from existing icons, or do I have to draw them from scratch?

Which colors/number of colors are recommended?

I was hoping there is some tool for copying and scaling of icons.

For example, the sample "ReportSample" has 24 variations of a toolbar. How was that created?

Here's a cool program I use to generate icon sets of various sizes:

It's unique in that you design/pick your "background", then a set of icons (SVG), and it will generate a whole set for you. You can then export to multiple sizes of PNGs in a couple of clicks, saving a lot of time.

Btw. in Codejock if you have a toolbar with different sizes, how do you change the toolbar? For example how do you switch from 16px to 32px toolbar?
