The markup control / XTP markup context does not render certain characters from the Chinese/Japanese/Korean alphabet at certain font sizes. This can be reproduced with the Codejock MarkupPad:

The text Enter Text Here 防火用 is visible at 12px but not at 13px. It is displayed at 14px and 15px but not at 16 px.

You can try that out in MarkupPad easily.

This issue has been fixed in 18.3, please test and confirm.

I'm using XTP version 18.2 64-bit on Windows 10.
XTPVersion.h from November 17. 2017.

The CJ Version Checker did not announce a new version so I did not even know that there is a 18.3 version available...since January 30. ?

I'm downloading just know.
Are there release notes anywhere? The download site has no link.

This problem is indeed fixed in the 18.3, thanks!

Any chance somebody looking into the other bug reports I've filed. Some of these are months old, without any feedback. For example:

Captions in panels are clipped with ellipses even if there is enough space (the caption is "Properties" and should fit easily into the available caption).
