I use the win32 method:

::SHAddToRecentDocs

to add documents to the Recent list in the Task Bar.

I know that XTPToolkit provide a class to do it but I'm not using that yet.

I just found out that in Widows 8 and 10 a Recent list can also be displayed from the Start Menu (from right-clicking the tiles). But mine is only displayed in the Task Bar.

Anyone know what to do to support Recent list in the Start Menu?
