How are the tab colors for CXTPTabControl for Normal, Selected, Selected Highlighted etc. defined when specifying the tab buttons as markup?

It seems to pick up the colors from a theme? It does not use the m_clrButtonNormal, m_clrButtonSelected or m_clrButtonSelectedHighlighted specified for the CXTPTabControl.
