We recently updated to the 16.3 release of Toolkit Pro and we noticed all list controls now no longer show a change in background color on list items when they are selected. The list items just show the focus rectangle but no change in color. If the unselected background color is white when the item is selected the text color changes to white and it appears the item disappears.

After further investigation of this issue I have found that the problem happens because of a change in GetItemMetrics in XTPReportRow.cpp starting at line 1476. I uncommented out the original code and commented out the changed code and the original behavior was restored. This fixed the problem in the application lists derived from CXTPReportControl but there is still a similar problem in lists that are displayed in the CXTPPropertySheet to navigate to the various property sheet pages. When the items are selected there is no highlight color change to show item selection. The selection works correctly but there is no indicator of the item selected.

Because of these problems we have decided to return to Toolkit Pro 16.2 for our impending release. Hopefully you can help us to fix these issues so we can upgrade to 16.3
