I am incorporating syntax edit into our IDE and cannot find how to get the ID_FILE_SAVE update to work.

It seems like the CodeJock syntax edit is not sending a message to ID_FILE_SAVE to update the little disk icon on the toolbar used to save the file. In the CodeJpck syntax editor project the little disk icon in the toolbar stays on the entire time. Is there a work around for this? It should be enabled and disabled like the MFC text editors.
