Hi,
I install Codejock 13.2.1 in my computer with windows 7 with no problems at all, but when I tried to load a VB6 sample, I receive an error: "Error accessing the system registry", and when I continue loading the project, I will have to load the control then add it to the form in order to check the sample.
Any idea why, and how to fix this problem?
the computer has a windows 7 ultimate 64-bit OS

Why should a developer work as admin ?
In most companies, also the developers don't have to work as admin.
This can't be the solution.

Sorry, but it is.  Win7 will not allow VB6 to access the registry without running as admin.  And I didn't say the developer had to have admin rights, just vb6.

VB6 is 12 years old, and MS support ended in 2008.

Just create a shortcut that runs VB6 as admin. Be sure to test as regular user!!

First of all:

(in Vista and Seven) VB6, MSDN Library and SP6 MUST be installed from a user connected with Administrator account.
Also, EACH exe during setup process MUST be run with Right-Click -> As Administrator.
Disable or refuse autorun!!!

After installation is done:

1 - Right-click on VB6.exe
2 - Properties
3 - clic to Compatibility tab
4 - Select (active) the below options:
  a.   Compatibility Windows XP SP2 (or SP3)
  b.   Disable desktop composition
  c.   Run as administrator

Now you can run VB6 whitout problems.
