What would be the best way to add a watermark copyright notice to a given bitmap? How do you get the best result (distinct but not too eye-catching)?
I'm thinking of drawing it using GDI+ or simply alpha-blending a pre-made image. The latter yields quality problems when the size of the target bitmap changes.
 
I've read some articles about this, but I don't think they suffice. Has anyone done this before? Any tips?
