Ran across this utility: http://vectormagic.com/ - http://vectormagic.com/

Does anybody here know if this can be done in native code? That is, converting a raster to a vector-based image, in MFC?

Worked on this in an imaging application years ago. We produced boundaries in the pixel (x,y) coordinate space for masking and editing purposes. We also did the reverse operation, filling and feathering a vector outlined area of an image. Photoshop probably has something like it.

I have not seen anything like that in MFC though (we were an MFC app). Not aware of any GDI or GDI+ support either but have not specifically looked for it.
