Hi,

I'm using the skinframework in my app and once I do a SkinFramework1.ApplyWindow Me.hwnd on a form that has a vb6 tabstrip (TABCTL32.OCX) all captions are gone. The strange thing is that it works all well on my machine but on some other xp systems the captions go empty, no error or whatever. Please help ...

Product: Xtreme SuitePro (ActiveX) version 11.2.2
Platform: Windows XP (32bit) - SP 2
Language: Visual Basic 6.0

Regards,
Tim

Hello,

Do you register Unicode version ?

Can you grab TABCTL32.OCX and comctrl32.dll from this other XP and attach here or send to  mailto:support@codejock.com - support@codejock.com  ?

Hi,

I added the used ocx'es to the linked zip file below. I don't explicitly use the unicode version for as far as I know. Its is a english xp system. If you need more info let me know.

Hi,
Sorry, have no idea. I can't reproduce with all our machines. Are you sure these files from non-working machine and not fro your ?

Maybe you can try our TabControl instead ? :-)

Ok,  I've only seen it on xp sp2 uk machines. Does it have something to do with the `Fixed VB TabStrip painting bug of 11.2` bug fix maybe ?

We have seen this problem on two machines, one vista and one XP. Neither are developer machines
The tabstrip shows fine when no skin is applied (system), or there are no icons shown on a tab, but on applying a skin and putting an icon next to the tab caption, the tab shows blank. The icons come from an imagelist which contains a series of 16*16 icons. We are not using the unicode version

Hi,

I have same problem with SkinFrameWork V12.1 Beta and MS Tabstrip version 6.0

Captions and icons don't show.
I'm going to test this (again) tomorrow and I will have more details about this. Just to let you know in advance.

Thanks

Hi,

Sample and OCX is in zip file. The sample works on my development PC but on one of our customers PC it didn't. (So OCX is from this PC)

Hey Guys,

Great to hear this is fixed for 12.1, can you tell me if this also covers the underscored shortcut key as well ?? We have just noticed that it is also missing from the tab when a skin is applied.

Many thanks in advance!
