Using 13.1

a) When the user clicks the plusminus button the columnheader is left hanging in a "pressed state"  which I dislike.
How can i set the columnheader back to "normal state", other than using mouseclick APIs?

b) Setting the Expanded property of the column does nothing other than changing the icon.
I expected this to behave like a user click, but I have to hide/unhide my columns manually.
Correct, or am I missing something?

Just tested 13.3.1:
the "pressed state" problem solved.
changing the "expanded" property still doesn't DO anything.   .. BUT it has an event

.. can't use 13.3.1 in my production code due to some other issues.

Hi,
I would expect the same... The property is Read/Write so I would expect expanding column in code would be accomplished with setting .Expanded = True. See help for Expanded property below. Note: this only works with PlusMinus = True

Thanks, I will add this to my list

Description

Specifies whether the column is in an expanded state.

Property type

Read-write property

Syntax (Visual Basic)

Public Property Expanded() As Boolean

Remarks

The Expanded state is only used if PlusMinus is True.  PlusMinus specifies whether the column has an arrow icon in the column header that can be clicked to expand the column.

I got into an argument with Mark about the Expanded property some time ago - personally I think that setting Expanded = True/False should change the expanded state of the columns and change the icon.

But maybe such a feature request could go on the ReportControl TODO?
