I have installed version 9.6.0.1 of the ActiveX Suite into the default directory. I have now installed an application which has registered some of the ocx controls from the ActiveXSuite of the same version. This application has installed (and registered) the ocx files in "C:\Program Files\Common Files\CodeJock Software". After installing this application, when I try to use VB and add a CodeJock control to a form, I get the following error:
If I copy the *.lic files from "C:\Program Files\Codejock Software\ActiveX\Xtreme Suite Pro ActiveX v9.60\bin" to "C:\Program Files\Common Files\CodeJock Software" the problem goes away. Alternatively, I can re-install the ActiveX suite. Not very tidy fixes but they work. Is this the recommended way of dealing with this problem? |
