Is it possible to show Hint Text in the FlatEdit control when no user data exists? Kind of like how the Search box in FireFox shows the word "Search" in grey until you start typing something in there.
If not, please consider this for a future update. It would be cool to have a .HintText property for this. Could be useful in the ComboxBox as well. Thanks |

I believe that it is derived from CEdit, and therefore you should be able to call: CEdit::GetCueBanner.

Oh, sorry did not see that it was in the ActiceX section. If you can send a standard windows message to the control you can send EM_SETCUEBANNER ?
