Dears,

I read from this site that the activex suite has been upgraded to 11.2 but i'm still using 11.1.3. Since i purchased this product i have upgraded only once, Because each time the controls upgrade,  the activex controls change their file name , but i 'm not willing to change my visual basic project to use new controls.... you may know if we recompile the project using the new upgraded controls, we need to upgrade all set of these controls to our end-user........ it's not so convinient if our customers upgrade online for our product.

so i still use 11.1.3 even if i know that 11.2 has so many new exciting features.

Regards,

Your old friend

I'm sure that is not what he meant.  It is very difficult to upgrade to a new version using activex controls because the references are broken and you have to rebiuld your project.

install new version of controls than open project and it will ask you to upgrade to the new version of the controls answer yes if it does ask you then check in project properties for the checkbox allow upgrade activex controls to be checked then save project and reopen it
