Hi guys,

i have a candidate bug for the Codejock Pane.

Here i send you a simple sample code of what appened.

2006-01-05_220850_codejockPaneBug.zip

In my sample application i have 3 form.
In form1 i have a dockable pane and 2 button.
I want to show inside the pane sometimes form2 someother times form3.
Button1 on form1 put form2 inside the pane setting pane.handle = form2.hwnd, Button2 on form1 do he same as Button1 with form3.

Now start the code and do as follow:

1) Press PutForm2InPane, the form2 is now inside the pane.

2) Press PutForm3InPane, the form3 is now inside the pane.

3) Dock the pane on the rigth side of form1.

4)  Press again PutForm2InPane, NOW YOU CAN'T GET THE FORM2 INSIDE THE PANE BECAUSE FORM2.HWND =0 (REALLY STRANGE!!!).

If you don't dock the pane on the rigth side all works fine and you can switch successfully form2 and form3 in the pane as long as you want.

What can I do ???

Thanks.

P.S. Codejock release 9.60.1

p.p.s. Dear Oleg and SuperMario i hope in your help once more.

Hello,

I afraid this problem was fixed after 9.61. I ca't reproduce it with last 9.81.

Hi Oleg,

thank you once more. You got it!

I have downloaded the demo release of 9.81 and all works fine here with DockingPane. ;)

But now i have onother problem becuase since i have installed 9.81 the commandbar ocx doesn't work, more, doesn't work at all also release 9.61 of commandbar.

Now when i try to put commandbar components (doesn't mean 9.61 or 9.81) in a vb project the vb ide send the message "system error number xxxxxx. not implemented"  .

I have deinstalled both 9.61 and 9.81 restarted my pc and installed again 9.81, but i the error is still here.

I have registered commandbar ocx via regsvr32 too, but still doesn't work.

What i can do ?

Thanks a lot and greetings from Italy

Hi Oleg,

i have some news about commandbar 9.81.

As i said in the previous message the commandbar 9.81 ocx doesn't work in my pc.

I have made some other test on different pc and at last i got it: the problem is not in my pc, the problem is that CommandBar 9.81 is no more compatible with Microsoft Vb5 (commandbar 9.61 was compatible and, if i remember well, 9.80 was VB5 compatible too).

With VB6 the CommandBar 9.81 ocx is ok!!

All the other Codejock ocx are fully working with VB5 and VB6!

So, there is any chance to have a 9.81 Commandbar ocx VB5 compatible ?

Best regards
