Controls not consistent

Now I would like to ask, why the controls for dialogs are so different from the controls in the Command Bars? One of many examples is the CXTPFontComboBox, which uses different styles as control in the Ribbon command bar and as dialog control.

I'm sure, that I'm not the only programmer who likes that my program is using consistent looking and behaving controls.
