I found the help text for formatting almost non existent.

It shows

Style3D.Label.Format = "%.03f M"

First, what does the M mean?   Literal - sure ... but at least show an example of such to explain that to the user.  In fact, the % isn't described in the help text of the purpose.

More importantly ... I had to create my own MONEY formatter because it was not in there.  I thought it would be something expected.

ie:

{M}

I had to create my own looking at the registry and doing my own currency symbols and digit grouping and all.

But, by reading the help text, I have no clue at all how to format the separators.

For example.

I want to see:

$11,000.00

I don't want to see:

$11000.00

From the %.03f, how do you set the digit grouping as well as the digit grouping character?

11.000.00

versus

11,000.00

We need a heck of a lot more flexibility on this formatting OR at least tell me how to set the grouping character and grouping.

Could someone please explain how I get support on this, or how to do this?

We have DONG and New Caledonia monetary values which are in the millions and billions....so it is impossible for user to look at figures which are high.

We can't divide and put K and M because those are not valid amounts in other languages (ie: it's just not proper in some countries)

How do you put separators in the values on the graph?

Hello,

You can just create own function that format number to string and set Point.LabelText property for each point manually.

Do you have any plans to enhance the Chart Control?

Thank you.

I suggest (HOPEFULLY) that you just do {M}

And then you need three options in the registry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International

iDigits       (how many digits to show)
iCurrency  (is it on left or right)
sGrouping (where to put the commas)
sCurrency (what the currency symbol is)
