tried installing the chart trial on a windows 7 machine. Install completed but active x control never gets registered. Manually registering it gives me the following error

DLLRegisterServer failed with 0x80040200

tried it on another machine with XP on it and it worked there

any idea what would cause it not to work on the win7 box ?

thanks

Mike

this is on Win7 64 btw

i was able to install a licensed copy of Xtreme Suite Pro 13.1 on this machine

did an uninstall, reboot, reinstall - no joy

the chart builder runs but the active x controls will not register and of course none of the samples will run because they cant create the com controls

i am in the process to evaluate chart controls for a client and would like to be able to use codejock as we already have the other ones

thanks

Mike

Sounds like you need to Run as a Administrator.
Have you tried to register the controls from an elevated command prompt?

Start up a Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator.
You will be prompted by UAC to approve the elevation. Once the command
prompt window is open, run your regsvr32 command from that window and it
should succeed.
