Hi, is anyone able to run CodeJock 13.4.1 with VB6 on a Windows 7 64-bit machine?  I searched the forum and didn't get much info on 64-bit.  I bought a new Dell 64-bit system and I am wondering how deep I should get into the transfer of my projects if this is not compatible.  I mostly use the Dock control.

Thanks,
Merv

Hi Merv,

I have 13.4.1 running with VB6 on Windows 7 64-Bit, I have had no problems running any applications.

Thanks for the response Tony.  Just to clarify, you can build 32-bit apps on VB6 that is running on the 64-bit machine, correct?

My built apps run just fine on Windows 7 64-bit machines.  I was more concerned with the VB6 IDE itself, that I can do my development work there and produce apps that run anywhere (XP, VISTA, WIN7, 32-bit or 64-bit).

Thanks again,
-Merv

Hi,

Yes, I have had no problems compiling / running 32-Bit apps on the 64-bit OS, I also deploy to XP and Vista with no problems.

I too had concerns, but after 6 weeks with a Dell Win 7 64-Bit all is hassle free
