Testing for Prev Next Buttons click

   The Calendar in Office2007 mode has Prev and Next Appointments buttons. These work as expected except for 2 things:
Buttons normally respond on mouseup events, not mousedown. That way, users can click, move and the button will not trigger. Those 2 buttons do not trigger on the mouseup event. In fact, they trigger before the mousedown event!

How can we know if the click was on these buttons or elsewhere on the calendar. There is no button click event and the ViewChanged event occurs before the mousedown event. I need to take action on the mouseup event, and the action depends on whether the click was on the calendar or on these buttons and I see no way to find this.
