Andrei,

This is going to be a difficult one. Also for me to explain what really happens. Maybe you found this already with issue 6. & 7. in my BUGS post. I really hope you did... Now, I will give it a try.

You can use your own sample in ...Samples\ReportControl\VB\ReportSample to reproduce. You have to set FullColumnScrolling to true (...)

First one:
  1. Click Scrollbar button right 1 time (column Subject isn't visible anymore)
  2. Right click column area, select from popupmenu: Columns > Hide "Subject" column.
  3. Result: All columns disappear
Second one:
  1. Resize column "Subject" (smaller about 1 inch)
  2. Click Scrollbar button right 1 time (column Subject isn't visible anymore)
  3. Right click column area, select from popupmenu: Columns > Hide "Subject" column.
  4. Result: Column "Received" is only partially visible.
As I was writing this post to create steps it became more clear what happened. When hidding a column the width of that column will still be used to calculate the widths of other columns after the FreezeColsDivider. At least it looks like it... And with FullColumnScrolling = true you get weird results.

This is solved in V12.1.1

Thanks

Hi,

I don't know if this is solved or not... Please have a look at it.

Note: I made this post a sticky one as some other posts I did, you can change this by answering the posts and/or solve/fix the issues

Thanks again

I run current version of VB ReportSample app with "future" (13) version of ActiveX and could not reproduce your cases at all. All manipulations works properly.

Hi Mark,

Looks like this has been solved in later version. I couldn't reproduce the issues so...

Thanks for looking at it and I hope that in future a reply will be done if the problem has been solved.

Thank you.
