    Posted: 27 June 2008 at 11:30am
Hi,

i´m using VB6 with Janus GridEX 2000 control (www.janusys.com), but I´m having some little problem with it.

The major problem is when I use a column to be DropDownControl. In this case when I click in the up or down button the scroll thumb disappear and the DropDownControl freeze and I can´t use the mouse anywhere. The control only reset if I press the Esc key. Everything works if I don´t use skinframework.

Other problem: After skinning a GridEX control, the scroll thumb disappear when i click the scroll buttons or move the mouse pointer over the scroll bar.

Any possible solution?

Regards,

Jairo Marques

Oleg,

This is from their site:

Janus GridEX 2000 is a data-aware, fully editable component that hooks directly to databases, by using either DAO 3.6 or ADO 2.x.

GridEX 2000 unbound mode permits managing data in any format without sacrificing any group or sort capabilities.

Sorry to resurect an old topic, however as we are experiencing the same janus scrollbar problem (described as "Other problem:") not clear if it ever got investigated / fixed or not.

Can you post a screenshot?  The problem fixed was about frozen scrollbars in dropdown.

Thanks for the quick reply,

we have not come accross the dropdown issue yet but I have asked the testers to ensure that it is not present.  We have what was described as the "other problem".  screenshot posted.

this should come out as the "luna"

Further, this problem does not present itself when running from IDE (works correctly), only in the compiled application.

Seems you have Office2007 skin from old release. Try update it.
