Hi, Our company is evaluating the Extreme MFC Toolkit, the Calendar control, and I'm wondering: does the calendar control support other data sources other than XML and Access MDB? The product we're thinking to integrate the Calendar control with, we store our data in MS SQL Server 2000. Can we just pass in a connection string for SQL Server for CXTPCalendarDatabaseDataProvider to work? Thank you, Ann You

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like a lot of work to make it recognize SQL Server. But we will take a look and see if it is feasible. In the meantime, I'm wondering: does the Calendar control support multiple resources, and scheduling of multiple resources, like in Outlook? Lastly, according to your website, we will get the complete source code for the toolkit, is that true, or that we will only get the sample projects source code? Thank you, Ann You

Hi,
No, current version of the Calendar control does not support multiple resources, but we are working on adding this feature for the next major version of the toolkit. Yes, complete source code is provided with C++/MFC toolkit. It is limited to sample projects source code only for ActiveX versions of controls. -- WBR, Serge |
