    Posted: 30 March 2006 at 11:41am

I have several Panes docked to the left side of my app vertically. I have added enough Panes that the last pane button is only half visible at the bottom. See attached image. At the very bottom you'll see a clipped Pane. I have tried using the following to prevent this clipping:

Me.DockingPaneManager.PanelPaintManager.Layout = xtpTabLayoutMultiRow

Me.DockingPaneManager.TabPaintManager.Layout = xtpTabLayoutMultiRow

I've tried all the possible layout options but the layout never changes. Is there a way to prevent this clipping?

Hmm.. Strange that DockingPanes located in right of status bar...

if you dock pane bottom of frame do you see StatusBar under DockingPanes?

You can attach panes in group to save some space....

The DockingPanes are to the left of the StatusBar. They run down the left side of app. If I dock Panes along bottom I see the StatusBar above Panes.

I searched the Help for the keyword Group to determine how to apply your grouping suggestion. I didn't see anything that referred to that ability. Can you suggest a keyword that would help me find that in the Help system?

When the panes are added, instead of attaching them to Nothing, attach them to a pane to group them.

Hello,

1. Status Bar under DockinPanes looks ugly... If it is our XtremeCommandBars.StatusBar, it means that you need to change order of CommandBars and DockingPanes. click on one of them and select bring to Front(or Back)

2. See our MDI Sample:

DockingPaneManager.AttachPane B, E

DockingPaneManager.HidePane E
