TabControl is not a container???

The TabControl should be a container control. As such, changing tab caption should be possible without having to change contained UI components.
 
This "probably" works fine when the tabs are on top. However, when the tabs are shown on the left side (xtpTabLayoutRotated), this does not work!
 
Changing tab text does change the tab sizes (width in this case), but the contained UI elements are not moved. Results extra spaces or contained controls appear to be "outside" the tabs.
 
Do I need to resort to enclosing the tab controls into another container (i.e. a picture box) and use the ClientLeft property to align my container?
