Event Click and Edit Mode

Message Topic Search Topic Options Post Reply Create New Topic Printable Version Translate Topic

   Is there a reason why simply clicking an event once puts it in edit mode?  It almost seems universal that the first click selects and the second click (on the text in Outlook 2007) allows you to edit the event.
