If I float a docked pane by double-clicking on its title bar, the floated pane occupies the same position on screen as did the docked pane. Instead I want to move the floated pane to the center of the screen.

I can do this by catching xtpPaneActionFloated. However, a problem is that I only want to center it if a persisted position for the floating pane does not already exist - ie the user hasn't already positioned the floated pane manually. And note the user may have positioned it last time the application was run, since the floated position is persisted.

How can I detect that the pane has been floated for the first time?

Thanks
